Michelle Espag is an experienced professional in tax compliance consulting, with 25 years of expertise in Corporate Tax, Value-Added Tax, and Employees' tax. Currently serving as Associate Director of Tax Compliance at BDO South Africa since February 2018, Michelle has held various roles, including Tax Manager: Compliance and Corporate at Grant Thornton South Africa, and Corporate Tax Manager and Tax Administrator at BDO South Africa. Previous experience includes positions as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte South Africa and a VAT Auditor at the South African Revenue Service (SARS). Michelle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Taxation from the University of South Africa and a CIS degree from Mangosuthu Technikon.
