Brian Mayr, CFE, is a Director in BDO USA’s Forensics practice, specializing in global trade and compliance, including sanctions and export controls. With extensive experience in assisting multinational corporations and legal counsel, Brian has conducted investigations and compliance audits under U.S. regulations such as ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. Prior roles include Senior Manager at BDO, Forensic Accountant at HSNO, and various positions at PwC and Grant Thornton LLP. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University and a Master's of Accountancy from Georgia Southern University.
