David Zhang

David (Yue) Zhang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax and financial services. Currently serving as Principal and Partner at BDO USA since August 2014, David leads office initiatives to foster a collaborative environment and drive profitable growth, while also overseeing the China-Tax Desk to enhance client relationships. Prior roles include Managing Director at Deloitte, where David spearheaded business development and client service delivery, and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, managing high-revenue projects across various industries. Earlier career experiences include managerial positions at PwC and project management at China Instruments Import & Export Corporation, combined with engineering roles at Capital Iron and Steel Corporation. David holds advanced degrees in public accounting, business administration, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
