Derek Danilson

Derek Danilson is a Senior Manager with over 15 years of experience in IT risk management, compliance, and process optimization. They serve as an expert in IT controls, vendor risk management, and SOC reporting, guiding clients through training and audit engagements across various industries including finance and healthcare. Derek has previously held leadership roles at firms such as BDO USA, LLP, and Marcum LLP, managing teams to deliver assurance services and improve IT processes. They have also contributed to the IT audit community as President of the ISACA Philadelphia Chapter, enhancing networking and educational opportunities for over 1800 members. Derek earned a BSBA in Management Information Systems from Drexel University and an MBA in Information Technology from the University of Delaware.
