Douglas Klein

Douglas (Doug) Klein is currently a Tax Managing Director in the Controversy advisory sector at BDO USA, a position held since January 2024. Klein also serves as the Managing Member and Owner of PK-Genealogy, LLC, providing supplemental genealogy and tax consulting services since January 2020. Previously, Klein worked as an Income Tax Expert for Intuit in early 2023, and held various roles at BDO USA, LLP from 2015 to 2021, including Senior Manager and Regional Director of Tax Quality and Risk Management. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of Tax at SS&G, Tax Manager at Donovan Klimczak & Company, CPAs, and Supervisory Revenue Agent at the Internal Revenue Service, where an emphasis was placed on dispute resolutions. Klein began a career in public accounting as a Staff Accountant at Croskey, Hostetler & Mapes, LLP and holds a BSBA in Management and Accounting from Ashland University.
