Gretchen Upholt

Gretchen Upholt is the Managing Director at BDO's Nonprofit and Grantmaker Advisory Practice, specializing in nonprofit capacity building. With extensive experience in training, program management, and volunteer management, Gretchen has held roles ranging from Teaching Colleague and Adjunct Faculty at NYU to Chorus Manager at The Choral Arts Society of Washington. They have also worked as a Community Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps, contributing to several projects aimed at grassroots development. Gretchen holds a BA and MA in Arts Management from American University and a Master of Public Administration from New York University.
