Horacio Bernal is an Assurance Director at BDO USA, leading quality audits for life science and technology clients in the US Northeast Region. With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, they have held significant roles at Deloitte in Argentina, the USA, and Denmark, where they oversaw audit quality and compliance with PCAOB regulations. Horacio has also served as a professor of Financial and Advanced Accounting at various universities, contributing to the education of future accounting professionals. They are pursuing an Executive MBA with a focus on digitalization at Copenhagen Business School.
