Jake Cook

Jake Cook, CPA, is a Tax Principal and National Nonprofit Tax Co-Leader at BDO USA, where they currently lead the Central Region's tax-exempt practice. With twelve years of public accounting experience, they specialize in serving nonprofit organizations and have previously provided core tax services to corporations and high-net-worth individuals. Jake has attended and presented at multiple nonprofit technical trainings and is a member of BDO’s nonprofit industry team, responsible for engagements across the Midwest and Atlantic regions. Prior to their current role, Jake worked as a Senior Tax Associate and held positions at Spartan Stores and Perrigo. They earned a degree from Michigan State University in 2007.
