Jose Suarez, CPA, CIA, possesses extensive experience in internal controls and audit services. Notably, Jose served as Sr. Manager of Internal Controls at Targa Resources, where responsibilities included overseeing the SOX compliance program and managing audit coordination. Previous positions include Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where audit support was provided for an oil and gas company, and Principal in Financial Controls at El Paso, where Jose led business process documentation initiatives. At EP ENERGY, Jose played a vital role in establishing a SOX compliance program following a spin-off. Currently, Jose is a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory Services at BDO USA, LLP, assisting clients with SOX compliance and internal control issues. Jose holds a BBA in Accounting from Mays Business School, Texas A&M University.
