Kevin Moquist

Kevin Moquist, CPA, MBT, has extensive experience in the accounting and finance sector, having served as Managing Partner at Moquist Thorvilson Kaufmann LLC from November 1990 to June 2013, guiding the firm through growth and successful mergers, including a notable transition to BDO USA LLP. Since 2015, Kevin has held the position of Partner at BDO USA, LLP, where responsibilities include managing relationships with 54 Alliance independent CPA firms and overseeing core tax services in the Minnesota office. In addition to professional roles, Kevin has contributed to various non-profit organizations, including serving on the boards of the Education Foundation South Washington County, Minnesota Software Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Woodbury Community Foundation, and Hobey Baker Memorial Foundation, where leadership roles included Treasurer and committee chair positions. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Minnesota and a Master's in Business Taxation from the UMN Carlson School of Management.
