Lawrence Friedman

Lawrence Friedman, CPA, MBA, is currently a Tax Principal specializing in Digital Transformation and Innovation at BDO USA since 2025. Prior to this role, they served as Managing Director of Tax Technology at BDO from 2022 to 2025 and held the position of Tax Director at SEI from 2015 to 2022, focusing on the taxation of hedge funds and mutual funds. Lawrence began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked in Financial Services Taxation from 2009 to 2011 and subsequently held senior associate roles at KPMG US and BBD, LLP. They earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Philadelphia University in 2009.
