Marko Zagar

Marko Zagar is a Tax Managing Director at BDO, specializing in the financial services sector, particularly private equity and venture capital. Currently, Marko focuses on tax compliance and consulting, as well as navigating GAAP and SEC accounting issues. Previously, Marko served as Senior Vice President and Head of Tax at loanDepot, where they developed tax policies and strategies, and held various leadership roles in Big 4 accounting firms. Marko's extensive experience includes working with diverse financial services clients across major markets. Marko is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and a Master's degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California, along with attending Law School at the University of Zagreb.
