Mary Williams

Mary Williams is a Tax Managing Director at BDO USA, where they focus on tax for complex pass-through entities, large C Corporations, and private equity-owned companies. With over 8 years of experience in public accounting, Mary previously held roles at BDO in Australia and Beene Garter LLP, advancing through various tax positions. They earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. Passionate about community involvement, Mary participates in the Grand Rapids Emerging Leaders Series and co-leads BDO’s West Michigan Women’s Inclusion group, while also volunteering with local nonprofits. In their free time, Mary enjoys making ice cream and exploring the outdoors with their fiancé, John, and their Goldendoodle, Milo.
