Matt Dumar, CPA, NACD.DC, is currently serving as the Assurance National Engagement Quality Review Principal at BDO USA, LLP since 2023. They retired as a Partner from Grant Thornton after more than two decades of service from 2000 to 2021. Following their retirement, Matt provided financial services consulting through Dumar Advisors LLC from 2021 to 2023, specializing in IPO readiness assessments, SEC reporting, and audit assistance. Matt earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida between 1985 and 1990.
