Michael Hottel

Michael Hottel is the Partner and Regional Technical Director at BDO USA, LLP, where they have led the Greater Washington DC Commercial Assurance Practice since 2011. With over 20 years of auditing and accounting experience, Michael has worked with clients across various industries, including technology, manufacturing, distribution, and government contracting. In their current role as Commercial Practice Leader, Assurance, Michael is responsible for guiding industry-focused growth and people strategies in the market. Michael holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
