Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a digital forensic expert with extensive experience in evidence development for investigations and litigation. They have served as a Senior Examiner at Ricoh Americas Corporation from 2014 to 2020, where they performed examinations of computers and related media, utilizing advanced software and techniques for data recovery and analysis. Prior to that, they worked as a Digital Forensic Examiner at UHY Advisors from 2011 to 2014, managing evidence and generating reports. Currently, Michael holds a Manager position at BDO USA and has also worked as a consultant at Crowe and Pathway Forensics, specializing in forensic acquisitions and analysis. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sam Houston State University in 2010.
