Michael White

Michael White CFE is a Manager in Government Services at BDO, specializing in Disaster Recovery and FEMA Public Assistance. They have over a decade of experience in disaster consulting and grant oversight, previously working as a Federal Grants Oversight Analyst and a General Ledger Accountant. Since 2009, they have managed Quality Assurance for Hazard Mitigation funding requests and led teams training on FEMAs grant implementation. Michael developed analytical procedures for recovery efforts, notably documenting and closing out over 200 Public Assistance FEMA grant projects following Hurricane Katrina. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi.
