Michaela Franklin

Michaela Franklin, CPA, has extensive experience in the accounting field, currently serving as a Senior Tax Accountant at BDO USA since November 2025. Previously, Michaela held the position of Franchise Services Associate at HORNE LLP from September 2020 to November 2025. Michaela's career began in customer service roles, including a tenure as Assistant Manager at Family Dollar and a position in the Customer Availability Processing Team at Walmart. Additionally, Michaela gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Southern Mississippi. Michaela holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, as well as a Master of Professional Accountancy, both from The University of Southern Mississippi, and an Associate of Arts in Accounting from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
