Mindy Hsiao

Mindy (Wan-Yun) Hsiao, CPA, CA(SA), is an Assurance Senior Manager at BDO's Greater Washington DC Assurance practice, where they primarily serve financial services clients in banking and real estate. They possess extensive experience in PCAOB, AICPA, and ISA audits, as well as U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting, SEC reporting, and valuation of real estate. Previously, Mindy held various roles at Deloitte, including Audit & Assurance Manager and Audit In Charge, overseeing complex audit engagements while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Mindy earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting with distinction from the University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting.
