Preston Scott, CPA, is a Managing Director at BDO USA, LLP, where they continue to demonstrate expertise in tax strategy and planning for diverse industries. Previously, they served as VP of Tax & Insurance at Advance America, managing tax compliance across 28 states and overseeing significant corporate transactions. With additional experience as Tax Director for a public company and roles at Ernst & Young and RBC Insurance, Preston has a well-rounded background in financial and SEC reporting, tax audits, and corporate debt structures. Preston holds a Master of Accounting in Taxation from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Clemson University.
