Rich Morris

Rich Morris is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Principal and West Coast Leader of the M&A Tax practice at BDO USA since April 2016, with extensive experience in global tax planning and strategy for numerous M&A transactions. Prior to this role, Rich held the position of International Tax Director at Autodesk, overseeing a team across multiple jurisdictions and managing various tax initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as an Attorney at Ernst & Young, specializing in tax due diligence and structuring for cross-border transactions, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, where Rich taught courses on international tax issues. Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Laws in Tax Law from Golden Gate University, and a Doctor of Law from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco.
