Brian Mayr, CFE, is a Director in BDO USA's Forensics practice, specializing in global trade, export controls, and white-collar crime. They have extensive experience in investigative and regulatory compliance, having assisted multinational corporations with audits and assessments under U.S. regulations such as ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. Brian has held various positions in forensic accounting and advisory services at firms including HSNO, PwC, and Grant Thornton LLP before returning to BDO USA in 2019. They earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University and a Master's degree in Accountancy from Georgia Southern University.
