Carlos Almacen

Carlos Almacen has extensive experience in tax preparation and accounting, having worked in various roles since 2011. Carlos served as a Tax Senior - Expat at BDO USA, LLP from December 2014 to January 2024, focusing on tax matters for expatriates and inpatriates, including tasks such as preparing Federal and State tax returns and assisting with tax research. Prior to this, Carlos was a Senior Staff Accountant at UHY Advisors from March 2012 to November 2014 and worked as a Tax Preparer and Interviewer at the University of St. Thomas- VITA during the 2011 tax season. Currently, Carlos holds the position of Tax Senior in International Tax Services at BDO USA. Carlos's educational background includes a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
