Cathryn McAleavey

Cathryn McAleavey is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as Principal at BDO USA since May 2023, after a longstanding tenure at BDO FMA where roles included Principal and Managing Director from January 2016 to May 2023. Prior to this, Cathryn held the position of Chief Finance and Administrative Officer at Single Stop from May 2008 to January 2016, where oversight included financial and administrative functions for a significant poverty-fighting organization, managing a $28 million budget and ensuring compliance with government grants. Cathryn’s career began as a Consultant at Fiscal Management Associates, LLC from September 2006 to May 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Finance from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
