David Ratnarajah

David Ratnarajah, CMI, is the Managing Director at BDO USA, LLP, where they focus on Sales and Use Tax in the New York Metro area since 2019. Previously, David was the Executive Director and Head of State & Local Non-Income Tax at Morgan Stanley from 2010 to 2019, overseeing tax planning and compliance for various entities. Their experience also includes serving as a Field Audit Supervisor at the California State Board of Equalization from 1985 to 1999, where they conducted complex sales and use tax audits, and as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1999 to 2010, managing consulting services related to sales and use tax. David is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at City University of New York-Queens College, which they have been attending since 1983.
