Doug Bekker

Doug Bekker is the Managing Partner for BDO's Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo tax practices, leading a team of over 80 professionals in federal, international, and state and local tax consulting services. With twenty years of experience, Doug specializes in corporate mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and tax issues related to insurance. Prior to joining BDO in 2003, Doug worked as a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP and Ernst & Young. Doug earned a BA in Accounting from Calvin University and studied at Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business.
