Gretchen Upholt

Gretchen Upholt serves as the Managing Director for Nonprofit and Grantmaker Advisory at BDO USA since August 2021, leading national initiatives and capacity-building programs while focusing on fiscal technology and training services. Prior to this role, Gretchen held various positions at BDO FMA from May 2014 to July 2021, including Lead Consultant for Training Services and the Midwest region, where engagement in business development and enhanced training offerings was paramount. Gretchen's extensive background also includes significant leadership roles in nonprofit and community development organizations, project management for the Peace Corps, and academic contributions as an adjunct faculty member at NYU's Wagner School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and degrees from American University in Arts Management and a Bachelor’s in Arts and Cultural Management.
