James Head

James Head is a Tax Managing Director in the National Tax Office (Private Client Services) at BDO USA, where they provide counsel on sophisticated tax, estate planning, and trust administration matters primarily for ultra high net-worth clients. With over 30 years of experience, they previously held positions including Partner at Williams Mullen, where they represented high net-worth individuals and entities in various legal matters. James has been recognized as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" for Trusts & Estates law and other specialties from 2016 to 2022, and has served as President of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council. They are also involved in the art community, advising collectors and serving on the Board of Trustees of the U.S. Capitol Historical Society.
