Jim Songey

Jim Songey is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Managing Director for the Washington National Tax Team at BDO USA, LLP since November 2021. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Partner at Grant Thornton from July 2007 to December 2021, and also served as Partner at KPMG, LLP from 1985 to 2007. Jim holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from California State University - East Bay, complemented by foundational education from Moreau High School.
