Joan Vines

Joan Vines is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in employee benefits and compensation consulting. Vines served as an Associate Partner at Grant Thornton LLP from 1994 to 2001, where the creation and leadership of a national specialty business resulted in exceeding revenue projections significantly. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager at KPMG, where Vines established a $1 million practice in employee benefits services. Vines also worked as a Director at Deloitte Tax, LLP, leading Global Employer Services in the Carolinas and Tennessee, and held earlier positions as Tax Manager at Dudley, Hopton-Jones, Sims and Freeman, and Principal at Andersen. Currently, Vines serves as Tax Senior Director at BDO Seidman, LLP since 2009. Vines holds a BA in Accounting from Birmingham-Southern College.
