John Shakarji

John Shakarji is the Director of Public Sector at BDO USA, LLP, leading engagement teams in project management, internal controls, and remediation services for Federal agencies. Previously, they served as a Senior Auditor at Fannie Mae, where they focused on enterprise risk management and compliance. With further experience as Senior Manager at MorganFranklin Consulting and as an Attorney in private practice, John has extensively consulted on risk management and compliance across various sectors. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland College Park and are currently pursuing a Citation in Entrepreneurship from the same institution.
