Joyce Florance

Joyce Florance is a seasoned Senior Tax Manager with extensive experience in tax accounting and consulting. They began their career at PwC, where they reviewed worldwide income tax provisions and supervised tax consultants. Joyce served as a Senior Tax Manager at Exterran from 2007 to 2016, becoming the subject matter expert in ASC 740 and managing income tax reporting for significant corporate transactions. Following this, they held a senior role at CenterPoint Energy, focusing on ASC 740 calculations and regulatory tax support, and currently oversees tax management at BDO USA since 2025. Joyce holds a JD in Taxation from South Texas College of Law and a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston.
