Lawrence Friedman

Lawrence Friedman, CPA, MBA, is currently a Tax Principal specializing in Digital Transformation and Innovation at BDO USA since 2025. Prior to this role, Lawrence served as a Managing Director in Tax Technology at BDO from 2022 to 2025 and as a Tax Director at SEI from 2015 to 2022, focusing on the taxation of hedge funds and mutual funds. Lawrence began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked in Financial Services Taxation from 2009 to 2011, and held positions at KPMG US and BBD, LLP. Lawrence earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Philadelphia University in 2009.
