Mark Schaefer

Mark Schaefer is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, and indirect cost analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director at BDO USA since August 2015, Mark previously held the position of Manager in Federal Advisory at KPMG from July 2011 to July 2015. Mark’s career began at Lockheed Martin, where roles included Financial Planning & Analysis from June 2006 to June 2011 and Financial Analyst from June 2001 to April 2006. Mark holds multiple MBA degrees in Finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and a BS in Decision Science with a focus on Management Information Systems from George Mason University.
