Mike Lorenz

Mike Lorenz serves as Managing Director of Valuation & Capital Markets Analysis at BDO USA since March 2022, following a tenure as Director in the same department. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Director at BDO Valuation & Business Analytics from August 2017 to August 2023 and served as Manager in Valuations and Business Analytics at BDO USA, LLP from February 2015 to August 2017. Mike's earlier experience includes management roles at Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP, focusing on M&A due diligence and valuation projects in the energy sector, as well as work as a Field Engineer at General Electric Energy, where responsibilities included overseeing gas turbine installations and maintenance across multiple countries. Mike holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Financial Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
