Preston Scott

Preston Scott, CPA, is a Managing Director at BDO USA, LLP, specializing in tax strategy and planning for a variety of public and private entities. Previously, they served as VP of Tax & Insurance at Advance America, where they managed tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and oversaw significant corporate transactions. Scott also held the role of Tax Director for a public company, coordinating extensive tax filings and regulatory reporting. They began their career at Ernst & Young as a Tax Consulting Manager and later worked at RBC Insurance as a Tax Manager. Scott holds a Master's degree in Accounting with a focus on Taxation from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from Clemson University.
