Rich Morris

Rich Morris is a Principal and the West Coast Leader of the M&A Tax practice at BDO USA, specializing in worldwide tax planning and strategy with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Rich served as International Tax Director at Autodesk, overseeing a team responsible for global tax planning and compliance matters. Rich's career also includes a role as an Attorney at Ernst & Young, where tax due diligence and structuring for cross-border transactions were key responsibilities. Additionally, Rich contributed to academic programs as an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, teaching courses on international mergers and acquisitions taxation. Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Laws in Tax Law from Golden Gate University, and a Juris Doctor in Tax Law from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco.
