Susan Pick

Susan Pick is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Managing Director at BDO USA since September 2019, where responsibilities include auditing the IRS to identify errors in interest and penalty assessments. Previously, Susan was a Partner and Managing Partner of Interest Recovery Services at Barnwell Consulting, LLC from July 2016 to September 2019, overseeing the review and analysis of interest and penalties assessed by the IRS and other government entities. Prior to that, Susan held the position of Managing Director at Grant Thornton, leading the IRS Interest and Penalty Practice and assisting clients with IRS controversies and interest issues from October 2008 to July 2016. Susan began a career in tax at Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager from April 1993 to October 2008 and earlier served as a Revenue Agent at the Internal Revenue Service from 1986 to 1993. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College.
