Tara L. Pendleton, CPA, is an Assurance Principal at BDOADVANTAGE, where they leverage over 20 years of public accounting experience to lead the Assurance Professional Practice Principal – Enablement team. They have held various leadership roles at BDO, including serving as Lead Audit Quality Director, managing approximately 350 professionals and overseeing the adoption of PCAOB Auditing Standard 3101. Tara is recognized as a subject matter expert in Critical Audit Matters, going concern, group audits, and audit data analytics, and has consulted on numerous engagement teams throughout their career. Prior to their tenure in professional practice, Tara worked with a diverse range of corporate clients across multiple industries. They earned their degree from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies.
