Todd Simmens

Todd Simmens is a seasoned professional in tax risk management, currently serving as a Managing Principal at BDO USA and an adjunct professor at Rutgers Business School. They held several noteworthy positions, including Legislation Counsel at the Joint Committee on Taxation and Attorney-Advisor to Judge Joel Gerber at the U.S. Tax Court. Todd has also contributed to the East Brunswick Board of Education as an elected board member, serving as President from 2007 to 2014 and again from 2016 to 2019. They earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and a J.D. from Dickinson Law, complemented by a BS in Accounting from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business.
