BDPA Cleveland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit technology organization committed to developing diverse tech talent and empowering underrepresented communities in the Greater Cleveland area. Originally known as the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), BDPA was founded in 1975 as a strategic partner within business ecosystems across America.  BDPA Cleveland was founded in 1980 as a chapter of the National BDPA. We strive to enhance, accelerate, and diversify the tech talent pipeline, providing opportunities for economic mobility, professional growth, and community engagement.

Our purpose is to advance diverse tech talent through innovation and inclusion. We provide programs, resources, and networking opportunities that help individuals build successful tech careers. We are dedicated to creating equitable pathways into technology, promoting diversity in the field, and supporting the ongoing professional development of our members.
