Earlier roles also include consulting with Sahni Natarajan & Bahl and managerial positions at Tata TD Waterhouse Securities P Ltd and Tata Finance Limited. Shovan holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a B.Com degree from Mumbai University. Early education was completed at St. Patrick's High Secondary School in Asansol.
