Max Hostetter has worked for a variety of organizations since 2014. Max began their career as a Lifeguard for Denver Aquatics. In 2017, they were promoted to Head Guard for the same organization. That same year, they also began working as a Research Assistant at Colorado State University, where they used zebrafish as a model animal to study the effects of protein expression on heart development, and tested joint-repair surgical procedures on sheep joints. In 2018, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado, where they utilized microscopy and experimental design to research potential treatment options for neuronal degeneration. In 2019, they were an Intern at Lexmark, where they assisted in optimizing the manufacturing process for new products and explored technique refinement for thin-film coating processes. In 2020, they were an Associate Automation Engineer at Automated Engineering Services, Inc. and an Operations Chemist at Corden Pharma - A Full-Service CDMO. Currently, Max is a Process Engineer 1 and Associate Process Engineer for Be Biopharma.

Max Hostetter graduated from Colorado State University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Max began their studies there in 2016.
