Karl Hoffmaster

Karl Hoffmaster has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Karl began their career in the US Air Force as an Automatic Tracking Radar Specialist from 1984 to 1989. After that, they joined Comcast in 1989 and held various roles such as Network Service & QA Manager, High Speed Internet Operations Manager, Field Operations Supervisor, Technical Trainer, and Technician. During their time at Comcast, they managed quality assurance programs, launched new products and services, and trained and developed technicians. In 2003, Karl joined ADT Security Services as a Quality Assurance / Training Manager, where they were responsible for managing the Quality Assurance and Training and Development departments. Karl then moved to CIT in 2007 and held positions including AVP, Quality Assurance, AVP, Global Systems Operations, Operations Manager, Customer Care, and Senior Business Analyst. At CIT, they established the Quality Assurance Department, managed call evaluations, and led business analysis and modeling activities. Most recently, Karl has been working at Confluent Services since 2015 as a Project Leader / Development, collaborating with clients, developing proofs of concept, and utilizing agile development methods.

Karl Hoffmaster earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from Columbia College, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business from the same institution, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Karl obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Application certification from Microsoft in May 2016. Karl also became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance in October 2013 and a Certified Scrum Product Owner in April 2014.
