The original boot camp, Be Military Fit is a franchiser, operating a #TRAINANYWHERE approach through digital, urban, and outdoor group fitness classes. Franchisees hold sites across the United Kingdom and are predominantly former members of the British Armed Forces. 

Be Military Fit is a veteran-founded and owned company with headquarters in London, UK. The company was founded in 1999 as British Military Fitness with the aim of helping people get fit using military boot camp workouts. In 2018 the company was bought by former British Army officer, Chris St George, and Bear Grylls OBE, and rebranded to Be Military Fit to reflect its international interest and relevance. 

The company's philosophy is centred around the concept of "being military fit," defined as 'being physically and mentally prepared to perform with confidence and excellence in any situation'. 

Membership is open to individuals of all fitness levels, and a bib system is used to help members work at a level that suits them, allowing them to track their progress over time. Beginners start with a blue bib and can progress to the intermediate red bib and advanced green bib as their skills improve. 

In recent years Be Military Fit has introduced a number of ‘Urban’ sites, featuring under-cover and heavy-duty, equipment-based training. With a focused approach to fitness programs, our Urban venues combine all-around fitness training, heart-rate monitoring, physical challenges, team training, and competition. 

All Be Military Fit members also receive complimentary access to BMF Digital, an online physical health and wellbeing platform, powered by BMF Human Performance. Designed to allow members to continue their training outside classes and stay committed when they can’t make a class in person, BMF Digital features a wide variety of on-demand content and live sessions each week, delivered by world-class instructors.
