Vice President Of Content Development at Beable Education

Michele M. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michele began their career in education as a High School English Teacher in the Lake Forest School Districts from 1985 to 1991 and later in the Oregon School District from 1991 to 2000.

In 2000, Michele transitioned to the field of educational technology, joining Renaissance Learning as a Writer/Product Developer. Over the years, they held various roles within the company, including Product Development Supervisor, Product Development Manager, and Director of Product Development.

In 2004, Michele briefly worked as an Editor at Pearson Prentice Hall before joining Achieve3000 as a Senior Editor. At Achieve3000, they eventually became the Vice President of Content Development & Executive Editor from 2017 to 2019.

In 2019, Michele joined Data Recognition Corporation as a Test Scorer for a brief period before moving on to Beable Education. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Content Development at Beable Education, where they lead a team in creating high-quality content for student readers and collaborates with other leaders and departments to align content with the overall user experience.

Michele M. obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Secondary Education from Viterbo University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned 24 Graduate Credits in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Loyola University Chicago, completing their studies from 1988 to 1990. Michele also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Comparative World Literature and Education, which they achieved from Lake Forest College between 1981 and 1985.
