Brad Brown

Brad Brown has extensive work experience in the field of embedded systems and application engineering. Brad started their career at Motorola Semiconductor as an Application Engineer, where they designed evaluation boards and provided customer support for embedded processors. Brad then became a System Designer, working on the development of a testbench platform system. After their time at Motorola Semiconductor, Brad worked at Intel as a Verification Engineer, where they led the XScale Monahans GLS efforts and created test plans for the DMA unit. Brad later transitioned to the role of Senior Application Engineer, representing Intel to various smartphone companies and maintaining documentation efforts. Brad then joined Logic Product Development as a Senior Application Engineer, where they designed a PXA320 System-on-Module (SoM) and developed function tests for peripherals. Finally, they joined Beacon EmbeddedWorks as a Principal Application Engineer, gaining experience in hardware development, embedded system debug, and design. Throughout their career, Brad has demonstrated expertise in ARM-based systems and has a background in schematic capture, PCB layout, and board bring-up.

Brad Brown pursued their education and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they studied Electronic Technology at The Institute of Electronic Science at Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1991.
