Taran Hackman

Taran Hackman is an experienced application developer currently working at Beacon Platform since January 2022. Prior to this, Taran held the position of Assistant Vice President at Bank of America from July 2018 to December 2021, where responsibilities included evolving the intraday risk system for ad hoc risk report generation and developing a comprehensive intraday risk system for live risk computing and reporting. Taran's career began as a Global Markets and Technology Intern at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2016, providing valuable exposure to the intersection of technology and finance. Taran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath, where involvement also included serving as a Computer Science Student Ambassador. Academic background includes A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics from Coombe Sixth Form, and GCSEs from Southborough High School.
