Charles E. Carrick

Charles (Chuck) Carrick is a Partner and Managing Director in Beacon Pointe’s North Carolina office and brings 30+ years of financial planning experience to the clients he serves. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe Advisors, Chuck was the Managing Partner for two decades at DMJ Wealth Advisors, LLC (DMJWA). While at DMJWA, Chuck worked hard alongside industry professionals to develop a deep, substantive planning approach, which considered each client’s unique needs. He was also a Partner at Advanced Planning Concepts, prior to a merger with DMJWA where he worked with small business owners to develop executive benefit plans to reward, retain and recruit key staff. Prior to his financial services career, Chuck honorably served in the U.S. Army including spending several years as a Sentinel guarding The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as a member of The Old Guard. Chuck graduated with honors from Guilford College and holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. Chuck previously participated in Leadership North Carolina, an initiative aimed at integrating economic development, education, environment, government, and health programs throughout the state.
