David Massart

David Massart is a Partner and Managing Director at Beacon Pointe Advisors. With nearly thirty years of experience, David designs custom portfolios driven by his clients’ investment objectives and advises high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, foundations, and individual retirement accounts. As part of a holistic approach to wealth management, he works closely with CPAs, estate attorneys and other key professionals in order to achieve results that are consistent with client goals. David has held a variety of leadership roles within the financial services industry including roles as a Manager at Wells Fargo Investments, LLC and Managing Director at Strong Capital Management, Inc. He later went on to found Next Generation Wealth Management (which merged with Beacon Pointe in 2021). He currently serves as a trustee of U.S. Bank’s Managed Portfolio Series Trust and ETF Series Solutions Trust, which are SEC-registered open-end management investment companies. In 2006, David co-founded Next Generation Philanthropy, LLC, and is the founder of the Next Generation Entrepreneurs Group, a Milwaukee-based think-tank for entrepreneurial professionals. David has an undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Minnesota where he was a two-time co-captain of the Division 1 Big Ten Men’s Tennis team, winning two team Championships during his time there. David is married to his wife Patricia, and they have two adult children Alexandra and John.
